What cookies and similar technologies do
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Similar technologies can include local storage, pixels and device identifiers. This policy explains the current website implementation and the security cookie observed in a live response.
Strictly necessary security cookie
Cookie: __cf_bm
Provider: Cloudflare, on ajaccountingltd.co.uk
Purpose: helping distinguish automated traffic and protect website delivery from malicious bots.
Duration: expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.
This cookie was observed in the live site response. Cloudflare documents it as necessary for its bot-protection service; it is not an advertising cookie and is not used by Cloudflare to track visitors across different sites. Security processing is explained in the Privacy Notice.
Analytics, functional and marketing technologies
No analytics, advertising, social tracking, session-recording or optional preference-storage code is installed in the Site source. The site’s own JavaScript does not set cookies or use local/session storage. The enquiry form prepares an email locally rather than sending a message to a form-processing service.
Google Fonts is loaded to display the existing typography; this involves an external request to Google. There are no Google Analytics or Tag Manager scripts, embedded maps, videos or booking tools. LinkedIn is an external link, not an embed; LinkedIn manages its own technologies if you visit it.
Consent and choices
No non-essential consent-dependent technology was identified in the reviewed implementation, so an optional-cookie consent banner has not been added. The identified cookie is used for necessary website security. If optional tracking is introduced, this policy and the controls will be reviewed before activation. Any technology requiring consent must remain off until consent is given, with clear accept and reject choices and a way to change preferences.
You can inspect, remove or block cookies using your browser settings. Blocking necessary security cookies may affect access. There is currently no optional-cookie preference to change on this site.
Scope of the review
The review covered the deployed source and live response headers on 4 October 2026. Cloudflare blocked the automated request after setting its security cookie, so a complete browser-session inventory of the hosting layer could not be verified. The cookie list above contains only the cookie actually observed, not every cookie a provider could potentially use.
